Dr. Adam Stebbing is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Macquarie University. His applied research focuses on understanding the system-level dynamics of Australian social policy. He has published on a range of critical social policy domains - including housing, retirement incomes, health, domestic and family violence, childcare and ageing. He recently co-edited the book 'Designing Social Service Markets: Risk, Regulation and Rent-seeking' and is currently updating analysis of the contribution that social tax incentives make to the Australian welfare state.
