Manuel Pinho is a former Portuguese economy minister. Pinho was between 1994 and 2005 a top operative of Portugal's Banco Espirito Santo.
Corruption charge
In December 2021 Pinho "was placed under house arrest until he is able to pay a 6 million-euro bail". His wife's bail was set at a million euros.[1]
