About Me

I’m a person much like the next.  My educational background is in geology, and my job title is environmental scientist, but those labels should only be used to help color in my perspective.  I use essay writing as a personal tool to help me work through some things which hit me intellectually, emotionally, or spiritually.  In some cases, they are probably little more than personal sketches.  In others, I hope I’ve articulated something sufficiently that it creates a stimulus of thought or feeling in other readers.  This site represents both an archive of some of my past writings and a venue for new ones.  Some of the past ones have been published elsewhere – I’ll try to identify those.  Whatever the case, I hope you find you haven’t wasted your time, and, maybe even enjoyed yourself a bit.
