Additional Sitter Fees
Additional Dog (after 2 dogs): $10.00
Additional Cat (after 3 cats): $10.00

Short notice booking fee (<24 hours): $20.00
Medication dosing fee: $5.00
Holiday Sitter Hourly Rates:
Valentines Day (after 5pm) Easter Day, Memorial Day Weekend (Fri-Mon) | July 4th | Labor Day Weekend (Fri-Mon) | Thanksgiving (Weds-Sunday) | Christmas Eve to New Years Day (12/24-1/1)
Cancellation Fees
You will be charged the full rate 24 hours before your sit begins. You will receive a 50% refund if you cancel within 2-24 hours before your sit.
No refund will be given for cancellations less than 1 hour before your sit is scheduled to begin.
Sits canceled within 72 hours will be charged a cancellation fee to the members account and paid directly to the sitter.
Travel Fees
A $25 travel fee (paid directly to the sitter) applies to sits in the following DC-area locations:
Virginia
Leesburg, Purcellville, Middleburg, Haymarket, Bristow, Gainesville, Manassas, Dumfries, Warrenton, Stafford
Maryland
Bowie, Crofton, Annapolis, Laurel, Columbia, Ellicott City, Germantown, Frederick, Waldorf, Upper Marlboro
Travel areas are subject to change without notice.
Rush Fees
Sits requested with less than 24 hours’ notice are not guaranteed. If filled, a rush fee applies:
$30 for Monday – Wednesday sits
$50 for Thursday – Sunday sits
Paid directly to the sitter at the end of the sit.

While many of our sitters care for pets, they are babysitters first and foremost. Every sitter in our network goes through a thorough screening process and must meet the following requirements:
Be at least 18 years old
Have dependable personal transportation
Bring prior childcare and petcare experience
Pass a clean background and driving record check
Hold current CPR certification
Complete a face‑to‑face interview with our team
Attend an orientation covering our standards and expectations

I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but I’ve called DC home since 2008.
