Membership

A membership is an instance of a membership in a particular state, e.g., active or expired. It is attributed to a user, is of a membership type [bundle], and has an entity reference to a membership offer.

Membership Type

The content entity bundle for memberships. The primary purpose is to define the state workflow for memberships. The membership type class also helps to resolve membership status as expired or active, if several states within a workflow qualify under these more broad definitions.

States and State Machine

Membership uses State Machine module for defining and using states within workflows.
