I installed the theme and the slideshow does not work. It does not appear at all, even when enabled. I've tried it in several different browsers and looked through the code to try to find a reason that it doesn't respond, but I haven't found a solution.

The slideshow is part of the theme that should be the default theme. It works, but perhaps you've got the issue that concerns the security fix in combination with the slideshow module.

I am having the same problem, and it's quite frustrating. Mr. Hendrick's comment is not really very helpful. What security fix? What do we need to do to make this work?

Look here: "Not compatible with 7.24 critical security update" in the issue list.

I just removed and reinstalled the theme, and that got it working again. Don't know why, though.

This is on a Drupal 7.37 install.
