Let see... Well I am a single mom web developer living on the East Coast. I blog as my way of recording issues I run across and their solutions for my later reference. Some of my issues seem really simple but... I found it very hard to find the solution online so I blog them there to maybe help someone else.

My background is everything IT but I have always leaned towards web development. I am finally get to that point where I have decided to focus only on web development. I would prefer to only use PHP but the current job has four websites in constant on-going development. Two PHP and two .NET sites. The responsibilities of these sites are divided between my IT brother in arms (.NET) and myself (PHP). Not only do we watch the gateway to four very high traffic sites but we handle the desktop support and the local network for the entire company. We (the IT staff) are in the process of creating a IT project project protocol because as you can image... With the entire IT department responsibilities and the web development of four sites split up between two people, things can get hairy very quickly. The other day I wrote a IP (Intellectual Property) agreement for one of our bloggers. How legal got into my job description? I am not quite sure. What are you going to do?
Regardless... I love what I do and I get to work on fantastic projects with a great group of people. :)

For fun: I play volleyball, play Just Dance, and think of what next big adventure to take my kids on.
