Consideration of draft reports in Roadworthiness Package

During the TRAN meeting on 12 January, the Committee will discuss two draft reports on the Commission proposal of the Roadworthiness Package.
The package revises three directives: the Directive on Periodic Roadworthiness Tests, the Directive on Technical Roadside Inspection, and the Directive on Vehicle Registration Documents. Its main objective is to update directives in light of technological developments and digitalisation, including the electronic storage of data, as well as to enhance road safety.
