On 27 January 2026 the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) will hold first presentation of the priorities of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the participation of Doctor Vasiliki Kassianidou, Deputy Minister of Culture in Cyprus. The discussion will focus on the plans of the Cyprus Presidency in the area of culture and media.

On 27 January 2026, the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) will vote on the following opinions: "2024 discharge: General budget of the EU – Commission", Financial literacy and the rise of influencers in the context of the savings and investment union and Enhancing connectivity", and "Preserving cultural heritage and driving local excellence in European tourism – destination management and regional tourism growth".
