At the CULT Committee meeting on 13 July, Hildegarde Naughton, TD, Minister for Education and Youth presented the priorities of the Irish Presidency of the EU Council for education and training.

On 14 July, the Committee on Culture and Education voted on the INI reports on the Impact of social media and the online environment on young people and the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 as well as its opinion on the EMPL report on Boosting skills in the Union - opportunities for vocational education and training in times of transition.
