Impact of Islamic extremism on the European way of life

On 8 June, the LIBE Committee will hold an exchange of views on impact of Islamic extremism on the European way of life with representatives of the European Commission and academia.

The discussion will focus on how the EU addresses challenges related to this topic, especially in light of the new agenda to prevent and counter terrorism. It will also provide an opportunity to assess existing policy responses and discuss current developments within the EU's security and fundamental rights frameworks.
