The TRAN mission to Aragon, Spain, in February 2025 aimed to enable its Members to gain first-hand insight into how the region has leveraged its location between two TEN-T corridors (the Atlantic and Mediterranean corridors) to become a top-tier logistics hub at the European level.

The TRAN delegation held meetings with national, regional and local authorities, infrastructure operators and other stakeholders, and visited Zaragoza's key logistics multimodal centre and transport connections. TRAN MEPs also had the opportunity to discuss urban mobility solutions with local authorities and to learn about innovative tourism initiatives in high-mountain areas.
