A műhelytalálkozókat a tematikus főosztályok szervezik, és céljuk, hogy a képviselők kérdéseket intézhessenek szakértőkhöz, illetve eszmét cserélhessenek velük a parlamenti munkához vagy az érdeklődés középpontjában álló témákhoz kapcsolódóan. Ezek a műhelytalálkozók nem feltétlenül nyilvánosak, de egybeeshetnek a bizottsági ülésekkel.

The Policy Department for Economy and Growth is organising for the IMCO Committee a workshop on the Digital Ownership in the context of consumer rights.
On 15 April 2026, a workshop on Territorial Supply Constraints (TSCs) took place from 10h00 to 11h30 during the IMCO committee meeting. In its 2025 Single Market Strategy, the EC identified unjustified TSCs in retail and wholesale among the "Terrible Ten" most harmful remaining barriers to the internal market. During the workshop, experts discussed the most prevalent TSCs with Members of the European Parliament and provide forward looking perspectives on how to tackle them.
