Commissione per lo sviluppo regionale

Executive VP Fitto for Cohesion and Reforms, Commissioner Serafin for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration, and Commissioner Hansen for Agriculture and Food, joined the Committees on Budgets, on Regional Development and on Agriculture and Rural Development for an exchange on the Commission’s proposal for the establishment of the European Fund for economic, social and territorial cohesion, agriculture and rural, fisheries and maritime, prosperity and security security (NRP Fund).

The Committee on Regional Development had an exchange of views with Mathias De Clercq, President of Eurocities and Mayor of Ghent on the EU cities agenda and on the post-2027 Multi-annual Financial Framework at its next meeting on Wednesday 28 January 2026.

The Committee on Regional Development vote on the Draft Opinion on Discharge 2024 : General budget of the EU - Commission 2025/2145(DEC) - PA-PE779.625v01-00 and AM-PE781.377v02-00 - Rapporteur for the opinion: Gabriella Gerzsenyi (PPE) and also on the Draft opinion in letter form on the Guidelines for the 2027 Budget - Section III 2025/2246(BUI) - Rapporteur for the opinion: Irmhild Bossdorf (ESN) at its meeting on Wednesday 28 January. Results of the vote will be published in due course.
