The Committee on Regional Development had an exchange of views with Jack Chambers TD, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation on the priorities of the Irish presidency at its next meeting on 15-16 July 2026.

The Committee on Regional Development considered the following two draft reports at its meeting on 15-16 July 2026 : Cohesion policy in the EU’s eastern border regions: strengthening territorial resilience and cross-border cooperation (2026/2054(INI)) - Rapporteur: Jacek Protas (PPE) - PR – PE789.932v01-00 and secondly Cohesion policy – the driving force in implementing the EU agenda for cities (2026/2027(INI)) - Rapporteur: Denis Nesci (ECR) - PR – PE790.121v01-00.
