20 October- 23 October: Plenary week
In the week of 20 October, Members' work is centered on Parliament's plenary sitting, and Committees meet only in exceptional cases. During this week, the Foreign Affairs Committee will have the presentation of the Pact for the Mediterranean by Commissioner Šuica. The Human Rights: Subcommittee and the Committee on Legal Affairs will hold a joint exchange of views on protection of Lawyers Worldwide, while the committee on Employment and Social Affairs and the committee on Environment, Climate and Food Safety will organise a joint meeting on the Social Climate Fund. The European Parliament’s calendar for 2025 is available through the link below. Parliament decides its annual calendar of work on the basis of a proposal by the Conference of Presidents. It is divided into plenary sittings (part-sessions) and meetings.
