On 4 November 2025, from 09:00 to 10:30, the FISC Subcommittee will host a public hearing on "The role of VAT and data bias in combatting period poverty". The hearing takes places in the context of the Gender Equality Week 2025.

Members of the FISC Subcommittee will travel to Washington, D.C. and New York between 27 and 29 October. The delegation, led by the Chair Pasquale Tridico, will meet with representatives of key institutions, such as the Council of Economic Advisors, the US Department of the Treasury, Congress, and the United Nations, as well as with stakeholders from the private sector, experts and civil society.

The FISC Subcommittee in cooperation with the Legislative Dialogue Unit of the Directorate for Relations with National Parliaments will organise an Inter-parliamentary Committee Meeting (ICM) on digital taxation on Thursday, 16 October, from 09.45 to 12.30 at the European Parliament, in the Jan Antall building, room 4Q1
