The Delegation for relations with Palestine meet on Wednesday, 17 December 2025 in Strasbourg (DE MADARIAGA S5)

The main point of the meeting was an exchange of views with 2025 Sakharov Prize finalists: Journalists and Humanitarian Aid Workers in Palestine and all conflict zones, represented by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, the Red Crescent, and UNRWA:

Meeting with Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the oPt

The Delegation for relations with Palestine will meet on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, at 15.00-16.30 in Strasbourg (Room DE MADARIAGA S5).

The meeting with hold an Exchange of views with Francesca Albanese, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967

As well as a Debriefing on the mission to Palestine of 27-29 October 2025

The meeting will be web-streamed through the European Parliament's Multimedia Centre.

The Delegation for relations with Palestine held an exchange of views on the current situation in Palestine with Alexandre Stutzmann, the European Union Representative to West Bank and Gaza Strip, UNRWA in Jerusalem

Meeting on current food security crisis in Gaza (17/07/2025)

The Delegation met on Thursday, 17 July 2025, from 09.00-10.00 in Brussels to hold an exchange of views on the current food security crisis in Gaza with Mr Moner Murtaja, Humanitarian Policy Expert.

The meeting was held in camera.

Meeting of the Delegation on 09/07 at 17h00-18h30 in Strasbourg

The next meeting of the Delegation for Relations with Palestine will take place on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, 17.00-18.30, in Strasbourg, (Room CHURCHILL 200).

The main issue in the agenda will be an exchange of views on the resource theft and humanitarian needs (including the right to water) in the Occupied Palestinian Territories with

· Ms Rasha Abu Dayyeh, PENGON Head of Advocacy;

· Ms Bushra Khalidi, from Oxfam's Policy lead in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Gaza;

· Mr Monther Shoblaq, Director General of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, Gaza.

Meeting on the current situation with Ms Yahav Erez, from Yesh Din.

The meeting of the Delegation took place on Monday, 23 June 2025,at 12.00 - 13.00in Room SPINELLI 5G3 (Brussels)

The main topic of discussion was an exchange of views on the current situation in Palestine with a local NGO representative currently in Brussels, Ms Yahav Erez, International Advocacy Coordinator at Yesh Din.

The meeting of the delegation took place in Brussels, on Thursday, 5 June 2025 at 10:00 - 11:30 and was devoted to an exchange of views on the situation of disabled Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories with:
  • MsMilena Ansari, Palestinian lawyer and Human Rights Watch researcher based in Jerusalem
  • Ms Nadia Hadad, from European Disability Forum Executive Committee
  • Ms Shatha Abusrour and Mr Mohammed Al-Arabi, Palestinian disability right activists

The meeting of the Delegation for relations with Palestine took place on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, in Strasbourg.

The main topic of discussion was the role of the European arms industry in facilitating violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territories with:

× Dr Sam Perlo-Freeman, Research Coordinator for Campaign Against Arms Trade

× Mr Frank Slijper, economist and researcher specialising in arms trade at Dutch peace organisation PAX

× Mr Andrew Feinstein - former ANC MP in South Africa and author of a number of books on the global arms trade

The main issue was a very interesting exchange of views on the protection of journalists and press freedom in the Occupied Palestinian Territories with:

  • Ms Youmna Al Sayyed, press correspondent for Al Jazeera English in Gaza under speakers
