AFET Committee visit to Serbia on 23 January 2026
A delegation of nine MEPs from the Committee on Foreign Affairs, led by Marta Temido, (S&D, Portugal), visited Belgrade on 23 January.
This visit took place as a follow-up to EP resolution on Serbia adopted on 22 October 2025, asking ''to assess, on the ground, the state of democracy, the ongoing protests, attacks on demonstrators and repression targeting students, academics, educators and public-sector employees''.
