The 5th meeting of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee (PPC) took place on 19 March 2026 in Brussels.

Under the co-chairmanship of MEP Nils UŠAKOVS and MP Arman YEGHOYAN, Members discussed Armenia's democratic resilience ahead of its June 2026 parliamentary elections, the deepening of EU-Armenia political, economic and security cooperation, the path towards visa liberalisation, and the perspectives of turning the South Caucasus in a connectivity hub of the future thanks to the achievements of the peace and normalisation agenda with Armenia's neighbours.

The Committee adopted a final statement and recommendations.

The 4th EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee (PPC) meeting was held on 25 February 2025 in Yerevan, under the co-chairmanship of MEP Nils UŠAKOVS and MP Arman YEGHOYAN. The topics discussed included:

• Closer ties between the EU and Armenia: the new EU-Armenia Partnership Agenda and the future of EU-Armenia relations; the state of play of the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement
• Consolidation of democratic reforms, the rule of law and the protection of fundamental freedoms in Armenia
• EU support to Armenia's resilience through economic, trade and energy cooperation and diversification
• EU-Armenia cooperation in addressing regional and global security challenges and the process of normalisation of relations between Armenia and its neighbours
