Meeting of the D-CL delegation: 13 October 2025
A meeting of the Delegation to the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee (D-CL) was held on 13 October 2025 in Brussels.
The following topics were debated:
- Situation in Chile ahead of the presidential and legislative elections of 16 November 2025;
- Measures undertaken for the provisional application of the Advanced Framework Agreement EU-Chile;
- Presentation of the mission report of the 28th meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee EU-Chile and meetings with Chilean counterparts in Chile, and exchange of views on the outcomes of the 29th meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee EU-Chile held on 9 July in Strasbourg.
The 29th meeting of the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) was held on 9 July 2025 in Strasbourg.
The 28th meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) EU-Chile took place from 17 to 19 March 2025 in Santiago de Chile and Valparaiso.

In order to facilitate a swift start into the new legislative term, the Parliament has prepared for the new Members a series of brochures providing a detailed information on the EP's role in the external policies of the EU as well as the work of standing inter-parliamentary standing delegations.
