Bilateral meeting with Pacific Ministers, 20 November 2025 (Brussels)
MEP Sven Simon, Vice Chair of the Delegation to the Pacific-EU Parliamentary Assembly, welcomed Pacific Ministers for a discussion in the European Parliament, ahead of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
Issues raised during the discussion were also the ratification process of the Samoa Agreement, the new Pacific Inter Parliamentary Assembly (PIPA), ocean governance and climate change.

In order to facilitate a swift start into the new legislative term, the Parliament has prepared for the new Members a series of brochures providing a detailed information on the EP's role in the external policies of the EU as well as the work of parliamentary standing delegations.
