Il piano pluriennale per il Mar Baltico e le vie da percorrere EN

I supported this report because the Baltic Sea is in critical condition and is in urgent need of action. Excessive nutrient input, pollution, climate change and decades of overfishing have pushed the ecosystem over the edge. The previous multiannual management plan for the Baltic Sea has not delivered, and therefore right now, the European Parliament calls for an immediate reset: cutting catch limits, rebuilding fish stocks, and shifting to an ecosystem-based approach to fisheries management.

Necessità di ridurre i decessi correlati al lavoro EN

Dichiarazioni di voto scritte

I voted in favor of this resolution, which builds on the EU's commitment to the "Vision Zero" approach. It is the EU’s goal to systematically reduce and ultimately eliminate work-related accidents, diseases, and fatalities. In 2023, more than 3,000 fatal workplace accidents were recorded across the EU, with young workers being particularly vulnerable. That is why the resolution prioritises a culture of safety for young workers, including better job-specific training and stronger protections from day one. The resolution also addresses the modern risks that often go unacknowledged, such as the physical dangers of extreme heat, driven by climate change, and the growing psychosocial risks tied to AI and algorithmic management. Safe and dignified working conditions are a fundamental right, and this resolution is a step in the right direction towards ensuring that they become the reality for workers across the EU.

Barbaric russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s civil infrastructure requires immediate and increased EU’s support. Group of MEPs urged the Member States and other to supply long-range missiles and additional air defence capabilities, including Patriot systems SAMP/T, NASAMS, IRIS-T, etc. https://t.co/qUSxm8xAxv

The #Ukrainian drones make impressive opening speech at the St. #Petersburg International Economic Forum under #Putin patronage. Russian economy has great opportunities, corruption and subjugation are welcome https://t.co/PxV9zBDNwV

One more terrible night in Ukraine where because of russia’s war crimes killed more than a dozen and wounded more than a hundred by now. Negotiations with russia? We need more comprehensive support for #Ukraine ! https://t.co/yOdBWx7BHv
