16-17 February 2015: Geneva (Switzerland)
An ad-hoc delegation from the European Parliament travelled to Geneva for the 2015 session of the PCWTO.
Discussions focused on three issues:
- "Trade as an enabler of peace and better living conditions" - reports and interactive debate,
- "Conveying the benefits of the WTO to the wider public: The case of consumers and young people" - panel discussion,
- "Policy, politics and trade: Keeping the WTO negotiations on the right track" - dialogue with senior WTO negotiators and officials.
The Director General of the World Trade Organisation, Mr Roberto Carvalho de Azevêdo, joined the Conference to deliver a keynote speech.
