Financing industrial policy and competitiveness in the post-2027 MFF

The European Commission published its proposal for the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034 on 16 July 2025. Part of this proposal was a dedicated heading for the European Competitiveness Fund (ECF).
The workshop will focus on the different aspects of European competitiveness in the light of the newly proposed European Competitiveness Fund (ECF). It discusses in two separate panels the lessons learned from the current MFF related to competitiveness, the ECF, and specifically industrial policy and defence.
