On 27 January 2026, the Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT) will organise the public hearing “Protection of the financial interests of the EU in Slovakia”.

The hearing would aim to examine how the EU's financial interests are being protected in Slovakia, including alleged fraud patterns and the measures being taken to protect the EU budget.
