Monica Torres

Monica Torres is a senior reporter for HuffPost who writes about work/life, tech, consumer, and general lifestyle topics. As a service journalist, she enjoys helping people with news they can use and has covered everything from how to survive an unjust layoff to how to avoid getting scammed by gift cards and how to honor a dying pet on their last day. She is a graduate of NYU's Studio 20: New Media and Digital Innovation program and a 2016 member of Poynter's Diversity in Digital Leadership class. Her writing has also appeared in Quartz and Real Life Magazine. She is based in New York.
