HumHub is an open source intranet and collaboration platform made in Germany. With over 80 modules, HumHub can be tailored to fit almost any use case — available both On-Premise on your own server and as a GDPR-compliant SaaS solution.
Yes. HumHub is Open Source software licensed under AGPLv3. The source code is publicly available on GitHub and the Community Edition is free to use. For commercial use cases where you don’t want to publish your modifications, the Professional Edition and Enterprise Edition include an additional Commercial License.
Not quite. HumHub has been around since 2014 — long enough to build a global community. We’re more of a workhorse than a unicorn: founded in 2015, still going strong.

The Enterprise Edition includes everything from the Professional Edition, plus a dedicated hosting cluster with an isolated tenant, a 99.5 % uptime SLA with response times in hours, a personal Customer Success Manager, a custom contract and DPA, multi-site / multi-tenant deployments and custom module development on request.
Yes. Every Enterprise Edition customer gets a dedicated Customer Success Manager — your personal point of contact at HumHub for the entire contract period. They support you with onboarding, configuration and any ongoing questions.

Yes. HumHub is Open Source software made in Germany. The source code is public on GitHub and the Community Edition is free to use under the AGPLv3 license.

The HumHub core is licensed under the AGPLv3. For commercial use cases where you don’t want to publish your modifications, the Professional Edition includes a Commercial License in addition to the AGPLv3.
