Nasimuddin Nasimuddin

Dr. Nasimuddin (M’2003–SM’2009) received his M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Delhi in 1998 and 2004, respectively. He served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Delhi from 1999 to 2003, followed by a position as an Australian Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Macquarie University, Sydney, from 2004 to 2006. He is currently a Principal Scientist at the IAIC A*STAR, Singapore. Dr. Nasimuddin is a prolific researcher with over 260 publications, 8 granted patents, and 11 technology licenses transferred to industry. He has edited three books and contributed two book chapters. His exceptional research impact has earned him recognition among Stanford University’s Top 2% of Scientists globally for 2023, 2024, and 2025. He is frequently invited as a keynote speaker, tutorial instructor, and distinguished lecturer. A Senior Member of the IEEE (affiliated with AP-S, GRS-S, and MTT-S) and a Life Fellow of the WAMS Society, his accolades include the URSI Young Scientist Award (2005) and multiple IEEE AP-T/APPL Exceptional Performance Reviewer Awards. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation (OJAP), IJAP, and Editor-in-Chief of Wireless and Communication Letters, alongside serving on the editorial boards of several leading antennas and propagation journals. Additionally, he chaired the IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Joint Chapter from 2021 to 2022.
