The book Titanium Alloys - Research and Future Trends provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental properties, processing methods and current development directions of titanium and its alloys. The focus is on both the advantages of using these materials, which offer high mechanical strength, biocompatibility, and excellent corrosion resistance, and the challenges of integrating them into cutting-edge applications. The work brings together valuable contributions on technologies for obtaining high-performance alloys at low costs, the challenges associated with medical and dental implants, as well as innovative perspectives on the use of titanium in emerging areas such as catalytic processes and pollutant treatment. The volume provides the reader with a solid understanding of the role that titanium plays today and its potential in future research. The book is intended for students, researchers, and specialists interested in advanced materials, serving as a valuable resource for those who want to explore both the scientific basis and future trends in the use of titanium alloys.
