Elham Saberian
Dr. Elham Saberian earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2022 and her Ph.D. in Dental Medicine in 2025 from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University (UPJŠ) in Košice, Slovakia. She serves as a teaching and research assistant at the Clinic of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, where she also mentors students in their diploma thesis projects. Dr. Saberian’s interdisciplinary research bridges dentistry, biomaterials, biomechanics, and biomedical engineering, with particular focus on tissue regeneration, wound healing, oral cancer therapy, gene and genetic research, gene therapy, and drug delivery systems. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, books, and patents in the fields of regenerative dentistry, nanotechnology, and bioengineering. She collaborates with several academic and research institutions, including the Veterinary, Biomedical Engineering, and Science Universities in Košice, Slovakia. Her current work aims to develop innovative biomaterial-based and gene-integrated approaches for oral and maxillofacial tissue regeneration.
