Mudassir Shams
Mudassir Shams received his Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics (Numerical Analysis) from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Arts and Science, Balıkesir University, Balıkesir, Turkey. Before joining Balıkesir University, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, and served as an Assistant Professor at Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include computational mathematics, particularly numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics, iterative methods for nonlinear algebraic and transcendental equations, integral inequalities, and numerical techniques for solving initial and boundary value problems in both classical and fractional frameworks. Dr. Shams has 82 publications, including a book, book chapters, and numerous journal articles in high-impact journals. He has supervised one Ph.D., more than 28 MPhil, and 30 BS Mathematics students. He serves as a reviewer for various international journals and has presented papers at several international conferences as an invited speaker. His significant contributions have advanced the field of computational mathematics and its applications.
