Kenan Cicek, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Iğdır University, Türkiye. He received his PhD from the University of Bristol, UK, in 2016, specializing in photonic integrated circuits, optical sensors, plasmonics, and microwave photonics. He has extensive experience in simulation, fabrication, and interdisciplinary research. His work has been widely published in high-impact journals, and he has contributed to projects funded by prestigious scientific organizations. Dr. Cicek was selected for the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education’s 2012 YLSY Scholarship Program and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, in 2021.
