No, but I do think that encouraging the switches to better forms of stoves would be good. Ultimately I think this is pretty low on the totem pole of problems.

Gas stoves should only be banned for new builds that fail to meet ventilation and air quality standards.

No, but those new stoves must meet safety criteria, and then slowly phase-out gas stoves.

Depends on how this could affect the environment also if this is the reason we don't see a lot of gas stoves today.
