FLUID-AI will officially start on 1 October, but we already have our first plan for 5 October! 🚀 We would like to invite you to join us next 5 October in London at the co-located event "AI in Research: Understanding trust, federation, and the user experience", which will take place in the framework of the #RDA P27 Plenary. The workshop will include demonstrations, interactive discussions and breakout sessions, and will be structured in three sessions: (1) Data and AI: Defining AI-Ready Data, (2) Infrastructure for AI; (3) People and AI: Skills, training, access. On 8–9 July, the FLUID-AI team was in Brussels for the 2026 Coordination Meeting of EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe, together with representatives from over 30 projects, the European Commission, the European Research Executive Agency (REA), and the EOSC Association. 🤝A great opportunity to connect with the wider EOSC community, share progress, and explore synergies. 𝐄𝐎𝐒𝐂-𝐒𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀| 🇪🇺 EOSC Coordination Meeting 📍 This week SIESTA took part in the 2026 EOSC Coordination Meeting in Brussels (8–9 July), joining the other 33 projects, the EOSC Association, the European Commission and the European Research Executive Agency (REA). The meeting aimed to advance EOSC's transition towards an operational federated infrastructure by strengthening collaboration across the Partnership — connecting established projects with newly funded 2025 call initiatives. The meeting focused on three main objectives: 🔹 Deepen collaboration between EOSC projects, the EOSC Association and the EC under the EOSC Partnership and its SRIA. 🔹 Update on contributions towards the SRIA's strategic and operational goals. 🔹 Review progress of the EOSC Federation build-up and next steps for sharing FAIR data and services across borders and disciplines. 🤝During one of the sessions, the project presented a success story on scaling cross-project collaboration across AI4EOSC, SIESTA and TITAN EOSC, highlighting how coordinated efforts between projects can strengthen the EOSC ecosystem.
