  • When we feel down, we have a natural tendency to pay attention to what’s going wrong. How to combat this unintentional bias: keep a success diary. At the end of each day, write a numbered list of all the things (big or small) that you did successfully that day. It’s a great way to bolster your positivity, turn towards gratitude, and fight the impulse to focus on the negative.

  • Blue Monday: the third Monday of the new year, also known as the most depressing day of the year. The holiday hustle and bustle is behind us, many New Year’s resolutions have been forgotten, the weather is still cold. If you’re feeling down, don’t be hard on yourself — it’s a natural mental health response to the time of year. Choose a way to turn the day around: 🌀 Talk about it with others 🌀 Try a gratitude practice 🌀 Make exciting social plans 🌀 Something else / comment 👇

  • We’re proud to share that Headspace has been named one of Built In’s 2026 Top Places to Work. 🙌 At Headspace, we believe mental health support should be compassionate, comprehensive, and accessible, and that starts with how we show up for our people. Whether we’re supporting members, telling stories, or building out the app where it all began, we’re all unified under one mission: improving the health and happiness of people around the world. Here’s to continuing to shape the future of mental health. https://lnkd.in/gxBPmbMu

  • Ever notice how fast a spiral can start? One anxious thought turns into five, and suddenly you can’t rein them in. This is when grounding can be helpful. One small practice to bring you back to the present, like this color-naming technique: 🔵 Find five things you can see that are blue. 🟢 Then four things that are green. 🔴 Then three things that are red. 🟡 Then two things that are yellow. 🟣 Finally, one thing that is purple. Take your time with each color, noticing the shade, texture, and shape of each object. If you can’t find a particular color, that’s completely fine, just move to the next. Notice how that feels. You can try this on your own, or our AI companion Ebb may suggest other simple grounding ideas, as a quiet nudge toward stability in the middle of a messy moment. It’s okay, common, even, to get stuck in an anxious thought cycle. It’s also okay to need a little support while we find our way back.

  • 2026 goal: less defaulting to platitudes of “business speak,” more speaking human-to-human. A few common corporate jargon culprits, and what you can say instead: 💻 “Let’s take this offline.” Useful in theory, unclear in practice. Try: “Want to schedule 10 mins after this meeting to resolve it together?” 💻 “Let me know if you need anything.” What’s the likelihood of a follow-up on that sentiment? For clarity, try: “I’m here to support — would it be helpful if I handled ___ or reviewed ____?” 💻 “Let’s not boil the ocean here.” Dramatic, but not quite actionable. Try: “What’s the smallest, most meaningful next step we can take?” Got any more? Share them below 👇

  • The 2026 excitement and the post-holiday slump aren’t mutually exclusive. If your team feels a little “off” after the holidays, here are some ways to amp up the optimism: ▪️ Normalize the dip in energy. If it happens, it’s okay.  ▪️ Encourage self-care. The holidays can be exhausting, and you can’t pour from an empty cup. ▪️ Foster connection. Organize coffee chats and schedule genuine check-ins.  ▪️ Create small moments to look forward to. Participate in New Year’s challenges together, set goals as a team, or host a vision boarding team-building session.
