Innovation is reshaping the fight against #malaria — but getting new tools from the lab to the field at scale remains a challenge. On the margins of #WHA79, Malaria No More convened ministers of health, global health leaders, innovators, and partners for “Accelerating Malaria Elimination Through Innovation” to explore what it will take for countries to adopt and scale the next generation of malaria tools, from mosquito technologies to novel therapeutics. Across the discussion, speakers underscored the importance of faster policy pathways, sustainable financing, stronger health systems, and community engagement to help turn innovation into progress. Thank you to our speakers, Dr. Daniel Ngamije Madandi (World Health Organization), H.E. Dr. Frank Anthony (Ministry of Health, Guyana), Grey Frandsen (Flyttr), Dr. Linda Esso (Ministry of Health, Cameroon), Martin Fitchet, M.D. (Medicines for Malaria Venture), Dr. Nicola Lister (Novartis), and Dr. Michael Adekunle Charles (RBM Partnership to End Malaria). 🌟 See highlights from the discussion in our new blog: https://lnkd.in/dW3SpaT9
