Community, connection, and celebrating women together. 💐💙 Recently, residents at our Bristol Hotel interim housing community gathered for a special Mother’s Day celebration hosted by River of Life Foundation, featuring a catered lunch, desserts, flowers, and an afternoon of bingo and prizes. Thank you to River of Life Foundation and all the volunteers who helped create such a welcoming and joyful day for the women in our community.

A fresh restock that makes a real difference 💙 Thank you to Ace Uniforms for donating 25 boxes of clothing and helping restock our community closet. From hats and t-shirts to coats, pants, and button-downs, these items help create a dignified, welcoming shopping experience for the neighbors we serve. Access to clean, quality clothing supports confidence, comfort, and stability, especially for those preparing for work, appointments, and a new chapter. We’re grateful for partners like Ace Uniforms who help make it possible.

Meet Jose! he fell into homelessness about five years ago after several family members passed away within a year and a half. After his grandmother passed, he began experiencing severe mental health challenges. Afraid to tell anyone about what he was going through, he began to withdraw from friends and family. "I went inside my head mentally and emotionally, which led to me becoming homeless," he shared. Eventually, Jose was ready to ask for help. With support from PATH, he moved into safe interim housing, which gave him the foundation to get sober, find employment, and begin saving money. Last year, with ongoing support from PATH, Jose signed the lease for a permanent home. Today, Jose is thriving. He volunteers as the on-site maintenance person for his apartment building and as a landscaper. Through his Health Net managed care plan, he receives excellent medical and dental care, as well as healthy meals deliveries each month. Jose spends his free time with the many plants he has throughout his apartment and cooking for the family members he has reconnected with since obtaining housing.

An evening that meant a little more. 💐💙 At our Riverside interim family community, mothers and families came together for a night of connection, care, and celebration. Kids laughed and played, families shared meals, and moms had a moment just for themselves, with hair styling and time to feel cared for. These moments matter. They create space for families to breathe, connect, and feel supported as they move forward on their journey home. Thank you to Mr. Stewart Loves You for helping make this night so special.

Your gift goes twice as far this Wednesday, May 13! 💙 Thanks to generous matching gifts from Mimi and Mike Murray, Griffis Residential, Guardian, and Knighted Neighbors, every donation to PATH Giving Day will be matched, doubling your impact for neighbors on their journey home. After years of instability, Judy was living in her RV, unsure where she could safely park each night. With support from PATH and the encouragement of her case manager, Dawn, Judy kept moving forward. Today, she has a place to call home and finds joy in life’s simple comforts, a shower, a fridge, and a sense of safety. Join us on May 13 and help create 50 new beginnings, just like Judy’s. 🏠💙

Celebrating mothers in Santa Clara County 💐 At PATH, we know that care, stability, and support make all the difference. This Mother’s Day, our community came together to create space for connection and appreciation. At our Bristol Hotel interim housing community, participants were treated to a spa-like day with facials, hair styling, a clothing closet, and time to gather over food and desserts. Each person left with a rose, a small reminder that they are seen and supported. We’re especially grateful to Jessica Jimenez of Skin Confidence Studio, along with Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen, Snowtime, and Energy Wellness Bar, for helping bring this experience to life and making the day so meaningful. Because every mother deserves to feel supported and at home 💙

PATH Giving Day is May 13, and your support helps more neighbors find safety, stability, and a place to call home. ❤️ Meet Erika. After spending more than seven years living in encampments while navigating addiction, Erika faced ongoing instability and challenges. Through it all, she remained determined to change her life. Connected to PATH through the Here4You Call Center, Erika entered interim housing, where she spent a year and a half building stability and focusing on her recovery. With consistent support and access to resources, she began rebuilding her life step by step. Today, Erika is in long-term recovery, has reunited with her children, and is in a healthy, supportive relationship. She works full-time at a local restaurant, her partner is employed in HVAC, and together they have secured stable housing without the need for ongoing subsidies. She is also nearing the completion of probation and continues to stay grounded through her faith and participation in Narcotics Anonymous. Erika’s journey is a reflection of what’s possible when people have access to the right support at the right time. Help make stories like Erika’s possible: epath.org/givingday
