New construction's total cost of ownership savings is a story worth telling. Today, Realtor.com is launching our New Construction Cost of Ownership campaign, shining a light on one of new construction's most compelling but overlooked benefits: what it actually costs to own over time. Our new research report, powered by Pearl SCORE® data, shows that buyers of an average new home can save up to $25,335 over the first ten years of ownership — based on energy usage and major system replacement costs alone. In 50 metros, new construction is already competitively priced against existing inventory, and that's before potential builder incentives, rate buydowns, and warranties enter the picture. For buyers planning their next move with budget in mind, the full cost story on new construction may surprise them. Congratulations to Anna Marie Castiglioni, Head of Realtor.com Next, on being named to Inman's 2026 Future Leaders in Real Estate! Inman's Future Leaders program recognizes the most promising real estate professionals driving meaningful change across the industry — and Anna Marie more than earned her place on this list. Under her leadership, Realtor.com+ launched in January 2026 and has already grown to 20 MLS agreements and 157,000+ professionals — the largest multi-MLS, co-branded portal collaboration of its kind in the history of online data sharing. It's exactly the kind of Technology & Data innovation that earned her a spot on this list, and a testament to her 'built-with, not around' philosophy that's reshaping how portals and organized real estate work together. We're incredibly proud of Anna Marie, and the team behind this work. This is what it looks like when the industry builds together.

Transparency wins... again.
For 30 years, Realtor.com has stood for one thing: an open marketplace where sellers get broad exposure and listings are visible to every buyer, not just a select few. Today, we're taking that commitment further. Later this year, Realtor.com Preview listings — sourced through Zillow Preview Listings — will give buyers across both platforms broad and early visibility into homes before they go live on the MLS. No special login. No brokerage relationship required. Just more transparency, for more people. Pre-market inventory is growing. Too much of it has been flowing into private, fragmented networks that cut buyers out and leave sellers with less exposure than they deserve. We think that's the wrong direction for the industry, and this collaboration is part of our answer. Our CEO, Damian Eales, shares more details about why we made this decision and what it means for the open marketplace we’ve spent decades building. Realtor.com reposted this
Zillow Preview is expanding to Realtor.com, bringing pre-market listings to even more buyers across the two most-visited real estate platforms in the country. Starting this summer, agents' pre-market listings will appear in a single pre-market window, visible to every buyer, no brokerage relationship required. When we launched Zillow Preview, the goal was simple: keep pre-market listings in the open, where every buyer can see them, not hidden in private networks. Today, we're taking that a step further. More buyers discovering listings earlier. More demand signals before go-live. More opportunity for agents and their sellers. And for agents already in the program: your branding, economics, and program terms are unchanged. This is purely more reach. Pre-market shouldn't mean hidden. It should mean more buyers, more exposure, more opportunity — from day one. Visit Zillow Front Porch to read more: https://lnkd.in/gE8hNgKC

Excited to share that our own Brent Albarado, AI Operations Senior Strategy Director, will be presenting at real estate tech analyst Mike DelPrete's upcoming AI conference, Further. Brent will be walking through how we built AI voice intelligence entirely in-house — no external vendor — to automate call analysis at scale. The results speak for themselves: 1,700% increase in coverage and a 97% reduction in cost. If you're attending Further in Austin next month, Brent's session is one to catch. And if you're not on the RSVP list, you should definitely check it out 👉https://lnkd.in/gS7v_t_5
Two new presenter preview videos for my AI conference, Further, from Pritesh Damani of Real Brokerage and Brent Albarado of Realtor.com! I just want to reiterate: everyone on stage has to go through me. It's not pay to play. And I'm sure my presenters are getting super annoyed at my hands-on feedback, presentation notes, comments on slides, etc. For this to be a valuable experience, each 15 minute demo has to be super dialed in. Focus on the biggest impact stuff. Less talking, more showing. More examples. How has it moved the needle? Give me numbers. No BS. It's a lot of work, but it's well worth it. I'm genuinely excited about where we're at and what these presenters will be showing. And I'm also sorry not sorry about my intense feedback! Introducing the Realtor.com Market Clock 🕐 Understanding your local housing market just got a lot clearer. Our new Market Clock translates complex housing data — inventory balance, market pace, and pricing pressure — into an intuitive clockface framework. Seller-friendly conditions sit at the top. Buyer-friendly conditions fall toward the bottom. And every position in between tells a story about who holds the leverage, and where the market is headed. What makes it different? The Market Clock doesn't just show where a market stands today — it shows how fast conditions are shifting and in what direction. That matters, especially in markets currently in transition. It's grounded in consistent, metro-level data, so you can compare conditions across cities and across time. See where your market stands or learn more 🔗https://lnkd.in/gGMvzAyC

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Realtor.com app in ChatGPT. The road to homeownership starts long before the first open house. It often begins with "pre-search," the critical window where you start asking exploratory questions like “What can I actually afford?” and “Which neighborhood fits my lifestyle?” Our new app in ChatGPT is just one new way to help you navigate these big-picture questions through natural conversation. Whether you're stress-testing a budget or describing your dream community, we’re helping to provide the clarity and confidence needed before taking the next steps on Realtor.com and connecting with a professional agent. And we’re doing it in a way that’s consistent with Realtor.com’s unique industry partnership model, MLSs and professionals remain at the center of a connected consumer experience. Every listing remains fully secure, and MLS data is protected with a strict prohibition on model training. https://lnkd.in/gX2xiPZF #RealEstateTech #AI #PropTech #Realtor #ChatGPT https://lnkd.in/gRhqKuYE

The real estate industry needs more grounded conversations about AI – less hype, more real examples of what’s actually working. That’s why tech strategist Mike DelPrete’s new event, Further 2026, is an interesting addition to the conversation. It’s a one-day showcase, coming to Austin on May 11, that’s focused on practical application: real operators sharing real problems, what they built, and how it’s driving measurable impact in their businesses. We appreciate any forum that brings the industry together to share what’s being built, what’s being learned and where AI can make a meaningful difference for professionals and consumers. Realtor.com plans to be there: https://lnkd.in/g3_pYqxe – and you should too.
