About us

Since 1958 the Sanlorenzo shipyards have been producing luxury motoryachts, the result of a combination of craftsmanship, design and advanced technologies, made-to-measure according to the owner’s specific requests. Under the direction of Mr. Massimo Perotti, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sanlorenzo, the shipyard has gone through a period of extraordinary growth, successfully implement numerous completely unprecedented concepts that have profoundly changed the yachting world. This unique, innovative approach has led the company to bond with the world of design and art: is global partner of Art Basel for the annual events in Hong Kong, in Basel and Miami Beach and since 2020 became the Institutional Patron of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. In this cross journey, Sanlorenzo created Sanlorenzo Arts, an active and interactive channel for projects connected with these two worlds. In 2022 Sanlorenzo is main sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the 59th International Art Exhibition in Venice.

  • WAVES, the first proprietary exhibition by Sanlorenzo Arts, marks a defining moment in our brand’s cultural evolution. Hosted at Casa Sanlorenzo during the La Biennale di Venezia, WAVES reflects a decade-long commitment to the arts, now expressed through an original curatorial voice. More than an exhibition, it affirms a belief: that craftsmanship, design, and cultural vision are inseparable — and that the future of luxury lies in creating meaning, not simply objects. Curated by Sergio Risaliti and Cristiano Seganfreddo, WAVES explores the concept of the wave as a universal force — a metaphor for transformation, energy, and dynamic equilibrium. From the radical spatial explorations of Alexander Calder, Lucio Fontana and Fausto Melotti, to contemporary interventions across architecture, sound, and light, the exhibition unfolds as an immersive dialogue between art, space, and the sea. As Chairman Massimo Perotti notes, the sea is not simply a setting, but a condition — one that shapes both innovation and identity. With WAVES, Sanlorenzo takes a decisive step forward as a cultural protagonist, reinforcing its role as a curator of contemporary creativity and a champion of Italian excellence. Until 28 June 2026. • During Milan Design Week, within the historic Cortile del Settecento at the Università Statale di Milano, an installation takes shape as a dialogue between past and present. Conceived by Piero Lissoni for UN_Material, the work translates the essence of SHE into an architectural experience, where full-scale sections, light and semi-transparent surfaces redefine how space is perceived. Visitors are invited to walk through it, exploring a structure that appears and dissolves through shadow, revealing not just form, but the thinking behind it. A reflection on design as a cultural language, where heritage, technology and vision converge to shape what endures. Lissoni & Partners #TomorrowTimeless #MilanoDesignWeek
