If Day 1 at #AdobeSummit2026 was about vision, Day 2 was about reality. Tendo's Lindy Roux, Brad Gerstein, and Ernie Chan came away with a clearer picture of where organizations actually are, and what it takes to bridge the gap between Adobe's roadmap and meaningful results.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Many organizations simply aren't positioned to take full advantage yet. Getting "there" requires the right strategy, organizational structure, and resources. The technology investment alone won’t do it.
𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘀. 𝗔𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱. The challenge now is pairing it with the coordination and oversight that make it sustainable. Guardrails and governance are what make speed scalable.
𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Red Hat showed how standardized page, email, and fragment templates empower broader marketing teams to act independently. It was a practical reminder that orchestration at scale depends on structure, not just technology. Sound familiar?
𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. Cisco and Red Hat both reflected a more sophisticated understanding of how B2B decisions actually get made. They are moving beyond individual lead- or account-based approaches toward buying-group-centered campaigns.
𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁. Lumen Technologies Head of Brand Moria Fredrickson put it well: the goal isn't less AI, it's AI that stays on-brand by design, with guardrails built directly into the workflow.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘁. For organizations deeply invested in Adobe's stack, the potential to make data and content more actionable — in hours or days rather than weeks or months — is within reach. But it starts with an honest assessment of where you are today.
That's a conversation Tendo has been having with clients for a long time. If you're thinking through your own readiness, reach out to Lindy, Brad, or Ernie directly.
Shout out to David Anders, Tom Richardson, Shalini Gupta and Elizabeth S.!
