Miss #SamsungUnpacked today? A lot of cool stuff was announced for the Galaxy S26 series, including a really neat Privacy Display. Google is also bringing some great additions to Circle To Search and new scam detection capabilities. Plus! Sameer Samat got on stage and announced something we're previewing with Android: the ability to have Gemini navigate a limited set of apps directly to get stuff done, like ordering groceries or calling a car. You can watch Gemini get to work on those digital laundry kind of tasks, or let it work in the background as you do other things on your phone. It's built with transparency and control and we're eager to hear your feedback on this preview of what's next for Android. It was really fun to be on stage at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked today as we look toward the next chapter of Android. We’re moving from an Operating System to an Intelligent System, a platform that truly understands and works for you. We’ve got some exciting things coming in the next Android release. Today, we shared an early preview of one of those features: Android working with your AI assistant to navigate apps and get tasks done. Whether it’s helping you with your grocery order or navigating the delivery app, Gemini’s on it. For example, you can ask for help taking a long list of ingredients from a recipe and adding them to your shopping cart in your favorite grocery delivery app. Gemini 3 uses its reasoning capabilities to make a plan and multimodal capabilities to work with Android and navigate the app to get the task done. The experience launches in a virtual window so you can keep using your phone for other things while this task is worked on in the background. But it’s built with transparency and control in mind – so if you want to stay in the loop you can watch Gemini take every step and pause, stop or take over at any time. The experience is also designed to alert you when the order is ready for your review, so you can take a look and check out. The experience is launching on the new Galaxy S26 series, in beta on a limited number of apps, with more apps and capabilities coming over time. So give it a try and I’d love to know your feedback. And we are bringing even more AI-powered experiences to the S26: ✨ The next generation Circle to Search experience allows you to search multiple objects at once, like finding an entire outfit. You can even try on a similar look without leaving the app you were in. 🛡️ Google’s advanced Scam Detection is coming to the Samsung Phone app, using on-device intelligence to bring proactive protection to your calls. Together with Samsung, we are entering a new era of mobile intelligence—and Android is always where you see the future first. #Android #GalaxyUnpacked #GalaxyS26 #Gemini #CircleToSearch
