This month our Norway For Whales campaign lead, Lottie travelled to #Arendalsuka, Norway’s largest political gathering, to learn more about the current support for the cruel practice of whaling in Norwegian waters and influence its future. Your contributions through the #WorldOceanDay Festival 2026 enabled us to continue this important work and one day bring an end to these unnecessary hunts. Plus, she visited our partners Megapop in Oslo to talk about their feelings about Norwegian whaling, and of course, their city building game Life Below, which features a stunning DLC supporting Whale and Dolphin Conservation. Another year, another busy morning at Develop Conference! ⛱️   Sally Ward 🔜 Develop Brighton from the Games For Waves team, along with our amazing game dev partners, have had a productive few hours with our annual beach clean, picking up a whopping 17.39kg of litter from the pebbles of Brighton! This huge number is even more than last year, driving home how important it is to take your rubbish with you to keep our ocean and environment cleaner and safer.   A massive thank you to everyone who joined and helped out! 💙 And if you're a game developer or publisher and want to make a difference by supporting Whale and Dolphin Conservation, look out for Sally at the conference today to chat all things fundraising and gaming! 🐬
