Eucrite, monomict; veined
Fell 1900, 127 g
A small stone covered with a glossy black fusion crust was found. The limited research on this particular meteorite indicates that the meteorite consists primarily of pyroxenes (hypersthene, pigeonite, augite are present) and albitic plagioclase (mostly bytownite). Glass veinlets are present, apparently due to shock, but the meteorite has been at least partially metamorphosed and reequilibrated since the vein-producing shock occurred.
