CONFLICT?

two or more pe o ple who pe rce ive
inc o mpa tible goa l. Hocker and Wilmot
(1995).
Is the expression of perceived incompatibility.
The disagreement between two or more
pa rtie s over a certain issues.

CONFLICT.
Object conflictrefers to a disagreement or
dispute centered around a tangible or specific
"object" (which could be a physical item,
resource, or symbolic entity) that holds
different meanings or values for the parties
involved. In intercultural settings, these
conflicts often arise due to differing cultural
interpretations of the object’s significance,
ownership, or use.

Sacred Sites:In Jerusalem, the Temple
Mount (known as Haram al-Sharif to
Muslims) is a physical "object" (a location)
that holds profound religious significance
for both Jews and Muslims. Differing
cultural and religious claims to this site
have led to ongoing conflicts, as each
group views its significance and rightful
control differently.

interactions, priority conflicts often arise

principles or approaches to decision-
making, resource allocation, or behavior,
causing tension when these priorities are
incompatible.
