unfriendly and honestly hostile reminder that trump isn't invading venezuela because maduro is a dictator, or because of drug cartels. he's doing it only and exclusively because they have desirable oil reserves and no other reason. reminder that venezuela is a comparatively poor country that will never financially recover from this. reminder that venezuelans are suffering with the bombing and the air strikes. reminder that trump did it to steal from them and no one did anything. reminder that this sets a dangerous precedent and now all trump has to do to invade another country is claim they're in a dictatorship. reminder that trump is a fascist dictator.
this will only be bad, for venezuelans and for all of latin america (and possibly the whole world) in the long run. trump did this not to help the venezuelans or their country, but to steal their petrol and get away with it. and he will. because that's what dictators do.

i saw your new years resolution post and i wanted to ask since the replies are off: would you ever consider making jerky out of your hunts? ppl down here hunt deer and make jerky out of it sometimes, so i just wanted to like. give you an idea should you ever manage to bag something (good luck btw!)

I wanted to make jerky out of my roadkill deer but ultimately ended up using all the spare meat for burgers. I donβt really have a great way to slice a whole deer thin I need to get a meat slicer before I do that. But I do occasionally buy sliced meat from the store and make jerky, my favorite is a spicy black pepper one.
I really wish my step dad had written his autobiography before he passed. He had a very colorful life. He was missing teeth not just from being British, but from jail fights and meth (but in a fun way, not a tragic trailer park way). He spent time in Morocco, some of it not imprisoned. He had a friend who had an eye stabbed out by a gang of children. Heβd interrupt fox hunts (or as he called it, βknocking rich cunts off horsesβ).
He started smoking when he was 7, he got into fancy schools on merit/intelligence, he hid the fact he had German ancestry because well, Germans werenβt really popular in the UK after the whole war thing.
