Project Lotus started as a short story about this regular college drop out of a guy who entered a flower shop to visit his mother, and found instead a lady he didn’t recognize, who would then get him involved in some crazy adventure. In order to tell that story, I found I had to learn who this other lady was, and Gina Rankin was born. However, I had so much fun learning who Gina was, I plum forgot to get to the college drop out dude. Maybe someday.
