The 2014/24/EC Directive on Public Procurement(Article 59) introduced the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD).
The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/7 established the standard form for the ESPD.
The electronic version of the ESPD became mandatory in April 2018.
