Last week, as part of the Safety Campaigns outlined in the Aerodrome Manual, we recognized the outstanding commitment of 44 airside operators, whose work reflects our dedication to fostering a proactive and participatory #safety culture across all operations at Rome #Fiumicino Airport.🏅 The awarded operators were selected following a comprehensive review of operational events, safety inspections, as well as nominations submitted by certified ground handlers and partner companies operating at the airport. By acknowledging the daily actions and behaviours of the frontline professionals who contribute to a safer operational environment, we aim at driving continuous improvement - also providing a valuable opportunity to exchange best practices and operational insights. At Aeroporti di Roma, safety is more than a priority: it is a shared value, built on accountability, awareness and teamwork. #TogetherBeyondFlying✈️

One year ago, to mark #MothersDay, we launched the project #ADRforMOMMY - developed with the support of Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri’s Department for Family Policies to foster an increasingly inclusive culture across our airports. Twelve months on, the initiative has further evolved - tangibly expressing our vision and commitment to people, wellbeing and equal opportunities: • 115 welcome kits delivered to new parents • 140 supplementary health insurance policies activated • 146 parental leave payments provided With the strong will to keep moving forward on this path, on this #MothersDay, we just want to keep celebrating all the parents who balance professional ambition and personal life every day, with strength, care and dedication. ❤️ What you do might be unseeable at times, but it is always invaluable. #TogetherBeyondFlying ✈️

To mark World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, the fountain at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport Terminal 3 and the signage at Giovan Battista Pastine–Rome Ciampino Airport were illuminated to honor the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, founder of the Red Cross Movement. For more than 160 years, the Volunteers of the Associazione della Croce Rossa Italiana have stood alongside people facing vulnerability, emergencies, and crises — supporting women, men, and children with dedication, humanity, and solidarity. Through their unwavering commitment, they continue to uphold human dignity, strengthen communities, and foster resilience in times of need. 🤝 With this symbolic initiative, #ADR joins the celebrations promoted by the Italian Red Cross to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contribution of Volunteers - always present alongside the most vulnerable, in every circumstance and without distinction. #TogetherBeyondFlying ✈️

A new connection between Rome and the US #WestCoast! 🇺🇸 🌎 Today, we celebrated with Delta Air Lines the launch of the new direct flight connecting Rome #Fiumicino Airport to #Seattle. This new connection (Delta’s 6th destination from our hub to the US) further strengthens our strategic collaboration with #DeltaAirLines, which confirms its role as a leading long-haul international carrier at FCO, with about one million passengers carried in 2025. 📈 “Delta Air Lines’ new connection between Rome and Seattle further strengthens an excellent collaboration,” Federico Scriboni, our Aviation Business Development Director, commented. “With up to eight daily departures to six US destinations during the summer peak, Delta will contribute considerably in expanding travel opportunities for passengers - while further strengthening the connectivity of our hub towards North America.” ✨ The new route will be operated four times per week by Delta’s state-of-the-art #Airbus A330-900neo, thus providing passengers with an increasingly premium and seamless travel experience. #TogetherBeyondFlying ✈️

Yesterday, at Rome #Fiumicino Airport's Newton Room, we welcomed a group of students from the “Giulio Douhet” Military Air Force School in Florence for a day dedicated to #innovation, #aviation and #STEM education.🎓 During their visit to the #NewtonRoom - a project developed in collaboration with Boeing and FIRST Scandinavia - the students took part in an immersive learning experience, including an enhanced flight simulation, aimed at at inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals by combining technology with hands-on learning. 🛫 A guided tour of our Airport Operations Control Center (#APOC) also took place, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at the airport’s operational core and the coordination efforts that ensure efficiency, safety and a seamless passenger experience every day. Through this kind of initiatives, we keep committing to foster meaningful educational opportunities, while bringing young people closer to our world. 🌍 #TogetherBeyondFlying ✈️

ITA Airways’ new flight, connecting Rome #Fiumicino and #Houston, marks a significant milestone: the first-ever nonstop route between these two global #destinations. 🇺🇸 Celebrated with official events in both airports, this new connection strengthens transatlantic ties and further positions Fiumicino as a leading intercontinental #gateway - supporting growing demand across both business and leisure travel. As our CEO Marco Troncone commented: “This route represents a strategic step in expanding Rome’s intercontinental #network, creating for the first time a direct link between Italy and one of the most dynamic metropolitan areas in the United States - a key hub for energy, industry, technology and innovation." 🌎 With this addition, in Summer '26, Fiumicino will be directly connected to 22 North American destinations, further strengthening the deep economic, cultural and industrial ties between Italy and the US, while creating new opportunities for exchange, investment and collaboration. #TogetherBeyondFlying ✈️
