🔴 After more than 15 months of war, people in #Gaza have been stripped of the most basic necessities: food, water, shelter, and education. More than 100 days after the ceasefire offered a critical opportunity to bridge crisis and recovery, the needs remain immense. Over 2 million people are still fully dependent on humanitarian assistance. As WFP’s new Country Director for Palestine, Shaun Hughes MBE underscores that early recovery is key so people can restore their livelihoods with dignity, rather than rely on aid.

In #Gaza, there is hope - but the food security situation remains fragile.   WFP's Carl Skau explains why life-saving assistance must continue at scale — at the same time as supporting people's livelihoods, nutritious diets, and their path toward self-sufficiency.   WFP is reaching over 1 million people a month with vital food and nutrition assistance.   The road to recovery is long. WFP teams are committed to supporting the most vulnerable to ensure stability, dignity and hope.
